For all those who are not willing to invest a significant amount of money into a new instrument, I propose renovation of your current one. The procedure of renovation consists of four phases:

-removal of back board (which is later replaced with a new one).

-removal of all braces on the soundboard

-gluing a new set of braces on the sound board and mounting a new back board

-completion of instrument (finishing, polishing)

This option is useful for players who like some characteristics of their instrument (i.e. fingerboard), however they are not satisfied with its sound. A lot of good-quality guitars lose their initial sound quality after several years. This intervention is suggested only if your instrument is built from fine types of wood and if the initial sound quality was relatively good.
