Eswar Narayanan

I am a Research Scientist in the lab of Prof. Andrej Sali at the University of California - San Francisco. The focus of my work in the lab has been towards:

  • the development of methods and algorithms for protein structure modeling
  • increasing the coverage, accuracy and computational efficiency of the methods to facilitate genome-scale modeling
  • application of protein structural information towards biological discovery

Some of the resources I developed or contributed to include:

  • Modpipe, a software pipeline for large-scale protein structure modeling
  • Modweb, a publicly available web-interface for ModPipe
  • Modeller, a software for protein structure modeling
  • Modbase, a comprehensive database of protein structure models
