The Internet poses a number of 'security issues' to all organisations, and we are aware and sensitive to these; in fact the course may only be run effectively if all the students clearly understand these concerns from the outset. We have had much experience of 'commercial environment' use of the Internet, and hold a realistic perspective on actual security risks. We will clearly explain these issues at the outset of the course to all students.
