In order to help you, we'd need to know the operating system you're using, the commands you ran to configure, build, and install IMP, and the full output files.

I am installing imp-2.5.0 from source to local user (I dont have root permissions).

If all you want to do is *use* IMP, you could install the Anaconda package - that doesn't need root:
