Hello sir/ mam,
I want to install IMP but, somehow while compilation of code in IMP directory when I enter the "make j4" command it stops after 37% is complete. I tried different values for j e.g. 8 but again same error occurred.

I assume you mean "make -j4" as "make j4" will try to build the "j4" target, which does not exist. In order to help you we'd need to know what the actual failure message is.
