Hello protein builders;
I am new to the Homology modeling field, I have membrane protein as a target and I need to model this protein, because of less sequence identity I suppose to model this protein by manual protein sequence alignment between the target and template. Let me know the advantages of manual protein sequence alignment and by this whether it is possible to improve the structure of the target protein. I need some ideas regarding this issue.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
With regards, Rajesh Rangaraj.
