Using MRO -- Microsoft R Open (formerly Revolution R Open)
MRO is an accelerated, multithreaded version of R. Even on a single core, it's faster than the standard version of R.
To use MRO rather than the base R, use the command "module load MRO"
- MRO uses MKL and by default uses all the cores on whatever host it's running on. To play nicely, your job script for MRO jobs must contain the following lines:
