I guess you mean "is NOT recommended".

You can certainly use either method to assess the models (although DOPE 
will probably be more discriminating than GA341). It's simply that no 
multi-chain models were included in the benchmark set for either method, 
so we don't know how reliable they are. But if they work for you...
