In principle, the existing Mac OS X package (for older PowerPC-based Macs) should work. However, Apple's Rosetta emulation software does not appear to work properly; a few people that have tried this told me that they get corrupt output files and incorrect structures.
The next release of Modeller will include Universal binaries for Mac, so will work correctly on Intel Macs. For the time being, however, you should avoid using Modeller on an Intel Mac, although it should work fine if you dual-boot with Linux or Windows.

To follow up on this, I have added a new download for Mac OS X on Intel at http://salilab.org/modeller/download_installation.html. Simply use this image rather than the older PowerPC image if you have an Intel Mac.
